Step 5. Enter your password.
Step 6. Now, click on DOWNLOAD DATA to save all your important information from being permanently deleted (this is optional)
Step 7. Click on DELETE icon
Step 8. Enter an alternate email address where they will send your an account deletion link.
Step 9. Now, click on SEND VERIFICATION EMAIL.
Step 10. Open the email from Google you should have received with your alternate email.
Step 11. Follow the deletion link in the message.
Step 12. If prompted, log into the Gmail account you want to delete.
Step 13. Select “Yes, I want to delete (example)@gmail.com.”
Step 14. Finally, click on “Delete Gmail.” and then, click on “Done.”
